Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Woman At Work) by Narayan Shridhar Bendre was sold in the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 81,250.00 (€ 65,949.68). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Narayan Shridhar Bendre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Three Women), which sold at auction in September 2021 for USD 225,000.00 (€ 194,350.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Woman At Work) von Narayan Shridhar Bendre wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 81.250,00 (€ 65.949,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Narayan Shridhar Bendre mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Three Women) beobachtet, die im September 2021 für USD 225.000,00 (€ 194.350,87) versteigert wurde.
