Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Boats) by Narayan Shridhar Bendre was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 55,950.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Narayan Shridhar Bendre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Three Women), which sold at auction in September 2021 for USD 225,000.00 (€ 194,350.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Boats) von Narayan Shridhar Bendre kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 55.950,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Narayan Shridhar Bendre mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Three Women) beobachtet, die im September 2021 für USD 225.000,00 (€ 194.350,87) versteigert wurde.
