Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled (Hole in Ground) by Naomi Fisher was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2007, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 2,640.00 (€ 1,962.39). Other works by Naomi Fisher have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2020 by the work Ladies 8/23/04 at USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,163.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Untitled (Hole in Ground) von Naomi Fisher im Mai 2007 bei Phillips in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 2.640,00 (€ 1.962,39) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Naomi Fisher wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2020 die Arbeit Ladies 8/23/04 mit USD 2.520,00 (€ 2.163,65).
