Auction result well in line with expectations
The work We'Re On Our Way by N. C. Wyeth was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2018. The price achieved of USD 903,000.00 (€ 773,778.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Admittedly, works by N. C. Wyeth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Farmer (Pennsylvania Farmer) in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 5,985,900.00 (€ 5,129,305.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit We'Re On Our Way von N. C. Wyeth kam im Mai 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 903.000,00 (€ 773.778,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von N. C. Wyeth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Farmer (Pennsylvania Farmer) im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.985.900,00 (€ 5.129.305,91).
