It achieved a price of USD 680,000.00 (€ 609,920.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Admittedly, works by N. C. Wyeth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Farmer (Pennsylvania Farmer) in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 5,985,900.00 (€ 5,129,305.91).
