Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Hindu Mystic (Seated Arab) by N. C. Wyeth was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The price achieved of USD 125,000.00 (€ 101,461.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by N. C. Wyeth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Farmer (Pennsylvania Farmer) in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 5,985,900.00 (€ 5,129,305.91).

Die Arbeit A Hindu Mystic (Seated Arab) von N. C. Wyeth wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 101.461,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden.
