Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scroll Rouge by Moshe Castel was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2019. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,508.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Moshe Castel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hallelujah in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 90,000.00 (€ 65,885.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scroll Rouge von Moshe Castel kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.508,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moshe Castel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hallelujah im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 90.000,00 (€ 65.885,80).
