A top price for Moshe Castel
In April 2007 Christies in Tel Aviv held the auction Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Art at the Hilton Hotel, Tel Aviv, which included the work Hallelujah by Moshe Castel. The »bidding war« ended at USD 90,000.00 (€ 65,885.80), 50% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Hallelujah the most expensive artwork by Moshe Castel that we have observed at auctions so far.
