Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli and International Art, which included the work Parisian Street Scene by Moshe Castel. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,310.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moshe Castel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hallelujah in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 90,000.00 (€ 65,885.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli and International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Parisian Street Scene von Moshe Castel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.310,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moshe Castel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hallelujah im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 90.000,00 (€ 65.885,80).
