The work Heartbeat by Monir Farmanfarmaian was sold in the Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in October 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 112,500.00 (€ 128,272.02), 41% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Monir Farmanfarmaian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Geometry Of Hope, which sold at auction in April 2020 for GBP 375,000.00 (€ 431,378.37).

Die Arbeit Heartbeat von Monir Farmanfarmaian wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 128.272,02) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Monir Farmanfarmaian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Geometry Of Hope beobachtet, die im April 2020 für GBP 375.000,00 (€ 431.378,37) versteigert wurde.
