Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre - 1955 by Modest Cuixart. The price achieved of EUR 2,624.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Modest Cuixart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Brufungles in March 2018 with an auction result of EUR 37,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1955 von Modest Cuixart zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.624,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Modest Cuixart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Brufungles im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.500,00.
