Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Modest Cuixart achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Arkar - 1950 sold for EUR 7,872.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Modest Cuixart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Brufungles in March 2018 with an auction result of EUR 37,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Modest Cuixart erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Arkar - 1950 für EUR 7.872,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Modest Cuixart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Brufungles im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.500,00.
