Despite a disappointment, a good price for Modest Cuixart
In March 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Brufungles by Modest Cuixart for EUR 37,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Art Impressionniste et Moderne at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Brufungles is the most expensive artwork by Modest Cuixart that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Modest Cuixart
Im März 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Brufungles von Modest Cuixart für EUR 37.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Brufungles das teuerste Kunstwerk von Modest Cuixart, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
