Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Naoko In Bosch's Last Judgement by Mitsuru Watanabe was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 38,134.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mitsuru Watanabe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Naoko Bathing in the Woods of Rousseau, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 79,462.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Naoko In Bosch's Last Judgement von Mitsuru Watanabe kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 38.134,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Für andere Arbeiten von Mitsuru Watanabe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Naoko Bathing in the Woods of Rousseau beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 79.462,28) versteigert wurde.
