The work Yukiko by Mitsuru Watanabe was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April last year. It achieved a price of HKD 56,700.00 (€ 6,855.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mitsuru Watanabe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Naoko Bathing in the Woods of Rousseau in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 79,462.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Yukiko von Mitsuru Watanabe kam im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 56.700,00 (€ 6.855,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mitsuru Watanabe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Naoko Bathing in the Woods of Rousseau im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 79.462,28).
