Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Incapable Of Being Unnoticed by Mithu Sen was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2020. The price achieved of GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,778.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mithu Sen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Four Untitled Works in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 14,900.00 (€ 18,953.45).

Die Arbeit Incapable Of Being Unnoticed von Mithu Sen kam im September 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.520,00 (€ 2.778,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mithu Sen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Four Untitled Works im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.900,00 (€ 18.953,45).
