Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The dining room table by Mikhail Zharov was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2006. It changed hands for a price of GBP 780.00 (€ 1,159.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhail Zharov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poppies, which sold at auction in November 2011 for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,334.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The dining room table von Mikhail Zharov kam im August 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 780,00 (€ 1.159,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Zharov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poppies beobachtet, die im November 2011 für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.334,80) versteigert wurde.
