The work Poppies by Mikhail Zharov was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in November 2011. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,334.80), 33% above the upper estimate. With this result, Poppies is even the most expensive work of art by Mikhail Zharov that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Poppies von Mikhail Zharov wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.334,80) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Poppies sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mikhail Zharov, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
