In November 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work A sunny day in the village by Mikhail Zharov. The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 597.50) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhail Zharov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poppies, which sold at auction in November 2011 for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,334.80).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit A sunny day in the village von Mikhail Zharov zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 500,00 (€ 597,50) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Zharov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poppies beobachtet, die im November 2011 für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.334,80) versteigert wurde.
