Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Lilies by Mikhail Zharov. The price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 790.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhail Zharov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poppies, which sold at auction in November 2011 for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,334.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lilies von Mikhail Zharov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 790,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Zharov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poppies beobachtet, die im November 2011 für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.334,80) versteigert wurde.
