Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Harbour by night by Mikhail Zharov was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2010. The price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,052.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhail Zharov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poppies, which sold at auction in November 2011 for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,334.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Harbour by night von Mikhail Zharov kam im Juli 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.052,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Zharov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poppies beobachtet, die im November 2011 für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.334,80) versteigert wurde.
