Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mikhail Shvartsman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2008. In the Russian Art Evening sale auction, the work Sailing Ship sold for GBP 157,250.00 (€ 198,769.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mikhail Shvartsman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] sold at auction in February 2007 with the realized price of GBP 192,000.00 (€ 284,633.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mikhail Shvartsman erzielte im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art Evening sale wurde die Arbeit Sailing Ship für GBP 157.250,00 (€ 198.769,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 70.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mikhail Shvartsman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] im Februar 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 192.000,00 (€ 284.633,11).
