Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Milky Way by Mikhail Shvartsman was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2011. The price achieved of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 54,485.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mikhail Shvartsman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 192,000.00 (€ 284,633.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Milky Way von Mikhail Shvartsman kam im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 54.485,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mikhail Shvartsman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 192.000,00 (€ 284.633,11).
