Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mikhail Shvartsman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the Russian Art and Paintings auction, the work Ieratura sold for GBP 82,100.00 (€ 114,961.24) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhail Shvartsman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808], which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 192,000.00 (€ 284,633.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mikhail Shvartsman erzielte im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art and Paintings wurde die Arbeit Ieratura für GBP 82.100,00 (€ 114.961,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Shvartsman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yaroe Oko [Avid Eye|AID115808] beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 192.000,00 (€ 284.633,11) versteigert wurde.
