Signed and numbered 103/250 in black ballpoint pen on the colophon (there were also 12 artist's proofs), co-published by Thea Westreich, New York and Galerie Gisela Capitain, Cologne.

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Reconstructed History by Mike Kelley was auctioned at Phillips in New York in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,032.00 (€ 1,860.81). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mike Kelley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Memory Ware Flat 1 in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 3,301,000.00 (€ 2,964,526.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Reconstructed History von Mike Kelley kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.032,00 (€ 1.860,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mike Kelley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Memory Ware Flat 1 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.301.000,00 (€ 2.964.526,27).
