Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mike Bouchet could be acquired at Sothebys in London in September 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Day Sale auction, the work Moment I changed hands for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,472.34) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mike Bouchet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lincoln Pooh, which sold at auction in February 2015 for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 43,089.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mike Bouchet konnte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Moment I für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.472,34) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mike Bouchet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lincoln Pooh beobachtet, die im Februar 2015 für GBP 31.250,00 (€ 43.089,11) versteigert wurde.
