Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fold Sea by Mike Bouchet was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in July last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,770.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mike Bouchet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lincoln Pooh in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 43,089.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fold Sea von Mike Bouchet kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.670,00 (€ 6.770,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mike Bouchet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lincoln Pooh im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 43.089,11).
