Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cam Les Cat Bar by Mike Bouchet was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in July 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,142.00 (€ 2,511.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mike Bouchet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lincoln Pooh in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 43,089.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cam Les Cat Bar von Mike Bouchet wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.142,00 (€ 2.511,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mike Bouchet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lincoln Pooh im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 43.089,11).
