Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Swolo 1 by Mike Bouchet. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,930.00 (€ 7,823.30), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mike Bouchet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lincoln Pooh in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 43,089.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Swolo 1 von Mike Bouchet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 7.823,30) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mike Bouchet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lincoln Pooh im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 43.089,11).
