In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work „the will to be your own unique self“. by Michiel Ceulers for EUR 6,250.00. This price was achieved in the auction Frühjahr 2019 - Zeitgenössische Kunst at Grisebach and was even below the estimate range of EUR 8,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michiel Ceulers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In Search of Image Nation: A Promise of the Status Quo, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,941.04).

Im Mai 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit „the will to be your own unique self“. von Michiel Ceulers für EUR 6.250,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Frühjahr 2019 - Zeitgenössische Kunst bei Grisebach erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Michiel Ceulers mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In Search of Image Nation: A Promise of the Status Quo beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.941,04) versteigert wurde.
