In March 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work If you bow at all, bow low (to know the road ahead ask those coming back) by Michiel Ceulers. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,533.50) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michiel Ceulers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In Search of Image Nation: A Promise of the Status Quo in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,941.04).
