This work of art by Michiel Ceulers could be acquired at Phillips in March this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction auction, the work but it was no ordinary drag-ghost (and not even dead could stop her from performing) changed hands for USD 3,302.00 (€ 3,037.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michiel Ceulers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In Search of Image Nation: A Promise of the Status Quo in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,941.04).
