Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Bacino di San Marco , Venice, with the Doge's Palace by Michele Marieschi was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 290,500.00 (€ 411,831.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michele Marieschi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Venice, The Bacino Di San Marco Looking Towards The Palazzo Ducale And The Piazzetta in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 2,210,500.00 (€ 2,788,135.51).

Die Arbeit The Bacino di San Marco , Venice, with the Doge's Palace von Michele Marieschi kam im Juli 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 290.500,00 (€ 411.831,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michele Marieschi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Venice, The Bacino Di San Marco Looking Towards The Palazzo Ducale And The Piazzetta im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.210.500,00 (€ 2.788.135,51).
