A top price for Michael Scott
In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh, which included the work The Bathers by Michael Scott. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,170.00 (€ 10,319.60), 43% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Bathers is even the most expensive work of art by Michael Scott that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Bathers von Michael Scott zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.170,00 (€ 10.319,60) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The Bathers sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Michael Scott, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
