Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Orchard After the Flood by Michael Scott was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,114.74), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Michael Scott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Bathers in October 2004 with an auction result of GBP 7,170.00 (€ 10,319.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Orchard After the Flood von Michael Scott wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.114,74) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Scott auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Bathers im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.170,00 (€ 10.319,60).
