Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Zone by Michael Raedecker was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 59,446.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Raedecker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Frisson, which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 138,000.00 (€ 204,580.05).

Die Arbeit Zone von Michael Raedecker kam im Oktober 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 42.500,00 (€ 59.446,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21%. Für andere Arbeiten von Michael Raedecker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Frisson beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 138.000,00 (€ 204.580,05) versteigert wurde.
