The auction ended at the price of EUR 6,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Heizer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Track Painting in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,109,000.00 (€ 982,546.29).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 6.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Heizer erzielen.
