Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Pink Flag by Michael Bevilacqua for USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,701.61). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Michael Bevilacqua have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hallelujah: It's a Girl in May 2009 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 19,467.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pink Flag von Michael Bevilacqua für USD 5.250,00 (€ 3.701,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Bevilacqua auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hallelujah: It's a Girl im Mai 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 19.467,65).
