Sold at the estimate price
In June 2015 Ketterer in Munich held the auction Kunst nach 1945 / Zeitgenössische Kunst, which included the work Pol 4 (Senor Mousse) by Michael Bauer. The auction ended at the price of EUR 4,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the pre-set estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Bauer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Basho Mob in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,066.84).
Zuschlag beim Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2015 führte Ketterer in München die Auktion Kunst nach 1945 / Zeitgenössische Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pol 4 (Senor Mousse) von Michael Bauer zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 4.000,00 entsprach exakt dem Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Bauer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Basho Mob im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.066,84).
