Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work L.O.R.D.S. 4000 by Michael Bauer for GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,220.26). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art | London at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Michael Bauer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Basho Mob in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,066.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit L.O.R.D.S. 4000 von Michael Bauer für GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.220,26) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art | London bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Bauer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Basho Mob im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.066,84).
