In November last year Christies in New York held the auction Visionary: The Paul G. Allen Collection Part II, which included the work Route One: Box Two: I by McArthur Binion. The »bidding war« ended at USD 302,400.00 (€ 292,938.10), 21% above the upper estimate. Other works by McArthur Binion have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 428,400.00 (€ 399,217.22) in May last year for the work DNA Study: III.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Visionary: The Paul G. Allen Collection Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Route One: Box Two: I von McArthur Binion zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 302.400,00 (€ 292.938,10) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von McArthur Binion haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 428.400,00 (€ 399.217,22) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit DNA Study: III beobachtet.
