Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wind stirs the Grass in the Dunes by Maxim Kantor was sold in the Heatwave: Online Auction auction at Phillips in 19 - in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 22,860.00 (€ 22,860.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maxim Kantor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Cedar and Man in July this year with an auction result of GBP 139,700.00 (€ 162,987.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wind stirs the Grass in the Dunes von Maxim Kantor wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction bei Phillips in 19 - versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.860,00 (€ 22.860,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maxim Kantor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Cedar and Man im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 139.700,00 (€ 162.987,56).
