A top price for Maxim Kantor
In July this year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work The Cedar and Man by Maxim Kantor. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 139,700.00 (€ 162,987.56), 75% above the upper estimate. This high result makes The Cedar and Man the most expensive artwork by Maxim Kantor that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Cedar and Man von Maxim Kantor zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 139.700,00 (€ 162.987,56) und damit 75% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht The Cedar and Man zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Maxim Kantor, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
