Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June last year Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Eagle's Nest by Maxim Kantor. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 88,200.00 (€ 102,463.31). Other works by Maxim Kantor have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 139,700.00 (€ 162,987.56) in July this year for the work The Cedar and Man.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eagle's Nest von Maxim Kantor zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 88.200,00 (€ 102.463,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Maxim Kantor haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 139.700,00 (€ 162.987,56) im Juli diesen Jahres für die Arbeit The Cedar and Man beobachtet.
