It achieved a price of USD 2,052,500.00 (€ 1,812,682.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maxfield Parrish - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hilltop, which sold at auction in November last year for USD 6,660,000.00 (€ 6,451,612.90).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.052.500,00 (€ 1.812.682,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Für andere Arbeiten von Maxfield Parrish mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hilltop beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für USD 6.660.000,00 (€ 6.451.612,90) versteigert wurde.
