Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Grisebach held the auction Frühjahrsauktionen 2018 - Third Floor, which included the work „o.T.“. by Max Neumann. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 625.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Neumann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre, 1986 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 18,588.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2018 führte Grisebach die Auktion Frühjahrsauktionen 2018 - Third Floor durch, in der auch die Arbeit „o.T.“. von Max Neumann zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 625,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Neumann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1986 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.588,00.
