Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Second DY" by Max Mikael Book was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 5,500.00 (€ 605.07). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Mikael Book achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Cumulus" in October 2018 with an auction result of SEK 200,000.00 (€ 19,290.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Second DY" von Max Mikael Book im November 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 5.500,00 (€ 605,07) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Mikael Book erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Cumulus" im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 200.000,00 (€ 19.290,50).
