The work Humboldt by Max Frintrop was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in July 2018. It achieved a price of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,203.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Max Frintrop - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work »Touché»., which sold at auction in November 2018 for EUR 9,675.00.

Die Arbeit Humboldt von Max Frintrop kam im Juli 2018 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.203,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Max Frintrop mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit »Touché». beobachtet, die im November 2018 für EUR 9.675,00 versteigert wurde.
