In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York auction, the work Untitled (First Love) changed hands for USD 2,032.00 (€ 1,836.92) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Max Frintrop have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work »Touché». in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 9,675.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Max Frintrop konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 7 - für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (First Love) für USD 2.032,00 (€ 1.836,92) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max Frintrop auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit »Touché». im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.675,00.
