Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Max Frintrop was sold in the Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped auction at Phillips in an online auction in December 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,447.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Max Frintrop have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work »Touché». in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 9,675.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Max Frintrop wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.447,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max Frintrop auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit »Touché». im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.675,00.
